Even if you look as closely as you can it's almost impossible to see the lens aperture.
The cap cam uses the same great BU18 CCD camera found in the tie-cam and the button/screw camera.
When connected to the PV1000 or PV500 digital video recorders it does not require an extra power supply.
You can also use this camera with any other digital video recorder on the market including some camcorders.
The built-in high gain mic will pick up the slightest of sounds without your subject being any wiser.
A smalll thin cable can be routed around the back and connected to the DVR recorder of your choice.
