Lawmate are the first company in the world to develop a law enforcement grade high definition wearable camera system.

The PV500 EVO with ER13 camera records video at 720p providing better video quality than any other head mounted security based camera system currently available.

In the past, the main problem with camera systems like these has been the low resolution they record at. This 800tvl bullet camera is sharp and produces vivid colours making it much easier to identify subjects that have been caught on camera.

The PV500 EVO is also fitted with a Pre-Record function. This means when the user presses the large record button on the remote controller the unit will go back up to 20 mins in the past and start recording from that point.

The camera can either be worn as a headset or detached and worn on the shoulder using the supplied camera clips.

The PV500 Evolution has been designed from the ground up as a law grade digital video recorder with time/date video stamping and for user logging. It can be fully password protected to prevent unauthorised use.

User operation of the PV500 is extremely straight forward. The main record, start, stop and power functions can be controlled from the wired remote controller which has two large buttons that can be operated with gloves on.

The menu system of the PV500 EVO is accessed by touch screen or IR remote control.

The screen can be used to position the camera, it will show a live image from the imaging head. Video can be instantly played back on the screen.
